After doing lots of research on the equipment to be used by different companies, back up warranty, the company itself and after sales service I choose Halcol Energy on the Sunshine Coast.

Two of us experienced some installation problems ( did not listen to Halcol's installation requests ) as the contractors used were not Halcol's regular crew due to the July 1st rebate reduction Halcol was over run with sales.

Update after 16 months with the Halcol Solar System:

As a mechanic I always look to save a buck & this system I purchased from Andy at Halcol on the Sunshine Coast has been a great buy.

I have watched my power bill reduce by the $100 per 1/4 as I expected. Then I ran the dish washer, pool & washing machine after the sun went down & reduced it again by $50. 9 watt down lights through out the house & standby shut offs $30 per 1/4. Future wave for the pool $60 per 1/4.

Be aware not to go too large on the inverter with limited panels as it will not produce as much power as it should or too small that won't allow the option of more panels.

Some inverters only allow you to add 2 panels at a time, Growatt allows 4 panel increase.

I intend in the near future to add another 4 panels to my system as this is the max for my inverter,12 in total. Check the credibility of the sales company, web research everything & ask lots of questions. My two other staff purchased the same from Halcol & are also happy (one installation hiccup).
